Non-Diagnostic 4D Ultrasounds

Its funny...as a nurse I was taught that only doctors can reveal health information to patients. We are only here to support the physicians and the patients. I think the same goes for the rest of the medical field such as sonographers, lab technicians, mammography techs etc. Only a physician can give a diagnosis. Its an ethical issue if you ask me. Here at Look Who's Kickin Ultrasounds we offer non-diagnostic 4D ultrasounds for entertainment purposes only. We cannot diagnose or treat medical issues. We will do our best to give you a memorable experience and introduce you to your baby's life inside the womb. We cannot give you any information regarding your baby's organs, estimated weight or due date---these are all things that are supposed to performed by a physician only. If you go for an ultrasound of your kidney because your doctor suspects stones...you might ask the tech if he or she sees any stones...but I can guarantee you they aren't allowed to give you that information. Its the same thing with our ultrasounds. We are only here to provide you with entertainment. Some of our competitors may offer reassurance scans and such but we leave that up to your physician. We have heard first hand that our local doctors don't want patients visiting an outside entertainment ultrasound facility for diagnostic information. They provide their patients with due date information and don't appreciate someone contradicting them. We leave the diagnosing to the physicians.
